During his journey through the music industry as an artist/producer and engineering in professional recording studios in Atlanta and North Carolina, King realized his love for music production. Music by King Inc began in 2015. Performing independent work as Recording Engineer and In-house producer at Skymount Studios, Sonny perfected his mixing and mastering skills and became a sought after engineer and producer for studio clients. He began selling custom music as well as producing talented artists such as gospel singer Alicia Moore, hip hop artist Vanity Wyze and R&B singer Donnell Isaac. Sonny also entered the field of music licensing by being signed to several music publishing companies who have secured placements for his work in popular TV shows such as Keeping up with the Kardashians, Ball in the Family, and Basketball Wives as well as networks like OWN, HULU, and MTV, just to name a few. In 2019, Sonny joined with charity organization and record label Music for Love as the Artistic Director/Head of A & R. King has travelled internationally, co-producing, recording and performing with famous Italian funk band Dirotta Su Cuba. King appeared on the finale of Italy’s famous reality singing show, “All Together Now” performing DSC’s hit song Dove Sei with over 4 million people watching. He also won the Global Music Award in 2018 for his work, “We Still Have a Dream”.

Now with his own company in his newly constructed, industry quality production studio, King works with indies, major labels, and TV shows to create a new sound and to help push music in a new direction. A ProTools wizard and professional music producer, King has created and produced original compositions in collaboration with hightly talented artists and provided them with over 15 years of experience in the music industry. From award winning music production, radio/album quality mixing and mastering, songwriting and industry know-how to create a successful recording artist, KIng guides his clients through the process of releasing music and navigating through this industry.
